The future of war: Cyberdefence and Defence restructuring

Information technologies have revolutionized the way which we fight wars and how we organize our military. But dependence on information technology has also increased our vulnerability. The most dangerous cyber threat is when a cyber attack actually causes physical damage.

How are we going to protect ourselves from cyber threats, either posed by other nations or a terrorist group like Al-Qaida? And how will information technology impact the way we fight wars in the future and the way we try to transform our militaries?

Folk och Försvar, in collaboration with the National Defence College (Försvarshögskolan), and with the support of the US Embassy in Stockholm, arrange an opportunity to meet with former deputy Defence Secretary Mr William J. Lynn III.
